The BrushPro club cleaner by Frogger is one of the fastest growing products in the golf industry since making a huge splash at the PGA Merchandising Show in 2008. BrushPro received the Best New Product award at the annual merchandise show in Orlando and in 2009, Frogger introduced the Amphibian Golf Towel which also won Best New Product award. Frogger CEO and founder, Jeremiah Bohannon says "I started working on concepts of this business plan in 2005 and because my name is Jeremiah, I found inspiration from the Three Dog Night song from the 1970s, 'Jeremiah was a Bullfrog.' Thus the company name of Frogger.”

Since introducing BrushPro, the Frogger concept has been applied to several other products including the Amphibian Towel, Amphibian Ball Towel, the BrushPro Plus 2-IN-1 shoe cleaner and the HOP divot tool and ball marker. “In coming up with this idea of a club cleaner, I wanted to address areas in golf I felt could use improvement and that I could develop,” Bohannon explains. “I am not the guy to come out with GPS devices or to make the better golf club; at least not yet!”

What Frogger does offer are sound and useful golf products that make the game more pleasant. The BrushPro keeps clubs clean and sharp which increases backspin and provides more control and distance. The useful product comes with a large handle and retractable lanyard so it is right at your fingertips. Its dual layer brush head bristles are made of nylon and bronze to help remove troublesome dirt and other debris on the club face. There is also a retractable groove tool that can be used for hardened mud that often clogs club grooves. The optional shoe cleaning attachment combines a five blade system to remove stubborn dirt, mud and compact grass providing optimum traction for better form and longer shots.

A natural partner to the BrushPro is the Frogger Amphibian Towel which offers a simultaneously wet and dry side. This functional towel combines a bamboo terry exterior and a jacquard interior into one towel when two or three were previously needed. The Amphibian Towel is constructed like a large pocket; the intention is to leave the exterior of the towel dry while keeping the inside wet for getting the caked on grime off your clubs. On a rainy day, for example, you simply reverse the process keeping the inside of the towel dry and usable. A waterproof layer keeps the two contrasting towel materials dry. The Amphibian Towel also comes with a convenient hook to attach to your golf bag and is available in several colors including blue, red or black. The developers of Frogger products really thought this one through.

With aspirations of becoming a member of the Inc. 500 elite list, Bohannon says he has exciting news for the ladies in regards to BrushPro and the Amphibian Towel. “We are working on something big for a late 2012 launch,” he promises. Frogger products are available on the company website and at major sporting good stores like Dick’s and The Sports Authority. I have used the towel and loved it. Can't wait to see how the brush works.
