PGA Championship heading to Quail Hollow
The PGA of America announced Tuesday it would stage the 2017 PGA Championship at the Quail Hollow golf course in North Carolina.
It will mark the third time the PGA will be in North Carolina, and the first for the largest city in the state.
Organizers expect the tournament to draw about 50,000 a people per day and tens of millions of dollars in economic revenue to the city and surrounding areas.
Quail Hollow has hosted a PGA Tour tournament for the past seven years.
