Korean sensation Noh Seung-Yul said Monday he has his sights set on becoming Rookie of the Year in his debut season on the USPGA tour.

The 2010 Asian Tour number one earned his PGA card through qualifying school at the end of last year, handing him the chance to play against many of the world's leading golfers.

"I have been dreaming of playing on PGA Tour since I was so young. And this year I am starting my dream," Noh, 20, said ahead of his first event in Hawaii this week.

Since bursting onto the scene with his first professional victory in 2008, Noh's reputation has soared.

He became the Asian Tour's Rookie of the Year and then lifted the Order of Merit crown two years ago -- the region's youngest player to do so -- and has now targeted a flying start to his career at the top level.

"I'll try to aim for a win and also the Rookie of the Year award. I would also like to qualify for FedEx Cup play-offs which will be my objective this year," said Noh.

He joins compatriots K.J. Choi and Y.E. Yang in the United States and said he was "pumped" to be playing at the highest level.
