Why does the measurements displayed on my GPS Caddie fluctuate when I am standing still?

The fluctuation is caused by the constant updating of satellite positioning and calculations. Even when you are not moving, the satellites still are searching and recalculating new positions. Depending on current satellite strength, these fluctuations can very widely. As a general rule, the most accurate measurement is the number displayed about one second after you arrive at your ball. In products such as the GPS Caddie II and iGolf Neo, we have included a stabilizer feature in the settings menu to eliminate this fluctuation. The satellites will continue to update, but the display will not change until you change positions.
