What are some common problems I might encounter during file transfer?

Step 1: Status is not ‘Connected’ in sync software

• Confirm USB cable is securely attached to computer

• Confirm COM port is set to Auto in the Settings section of iGolf GPS Caddie II Sync

Step 2: ‘No course files available’

• If you get this message, the iGolf GPS Caddie II Sync settings have been changed or the golf course files were not saved to the default iGolf folder. In sync settings, confirm ‘Find Golf Course’ location is C:\iGolf. If the location reads something different click on the browse button. Then, locate the iGolf folder, which can be found under Local Disk C. Click on iGolf, and then click OK at the bottom. Confirm that the location has changed to C:\iGolf. Confirm you are saving all golf course files to the iGolf folder on your desktop.

Step 3: ‘The device could not initiate’

• Confirm USB cable is securely attached to both device and computer

• Confirm ‘Waiting’ message displayed after selecting Sync Handheld on device

• Disable HotSync Manager or any other synchronizing program which may be running on your computer
